London based Encoded have just released their latest single ‘Normalisation’ which is taken from their forthcoming EP “Psychosis“, which is set for release on 18th May.
Normalisation is accompanied by a video that expresses the sentiment of the track, a mantra of never giving up on living life the way you want to. As the lyrics ring out “Live it up, live it up, make it on your own. Separate yourself from the mindless clones“, Encoded do just that in both song and video, resplendent with a skateboarding lobster, a free running parrot and the drastic contrast between lifestyles people lead.
The band sum up the meaning behind the new track ‘Normalisation’:
“This song is about rebelling against the rat race and pursuing your dreams no matter what anyone else says.”
