MMH 50 Years Of Metal – Hammer And Anvil

 

On the 20th April the MMH team celebrated one of many event’s to come in celebration of 50 year’s of metal.As you may have seen on our website and social feed’s. This took place at the Hammer And Anvil in the ‘Home Of Metal’ Birmingham.  The event kicked off with our Dj’s at 13:00 and the station invited new and upcoming band’s to,

 

  • Sell their Band merch
  • Receive a  promo shoot
  • Get interviewed by the MMH team
  • Share their most recent ep’s

The MMH team also had the pleasure to interview ‘The AOR Pose Workshop’ who really know how to perfect those metal poses.

 

 

At the event we were joined by special guest’s,

 

 

Liberty Lies from Wednesbury UK Kicked off the evening event with a flawless 45 minute acoustic performance.

 

 

The People The Poet from Wales who delivered an amazing 45 minute acoustic set.

 

 

Headlining the event were Gin Annie who are from Wolverhampton UK. Gin Annie dominated the stage with an hour live set and really knew how to bring the party to the Home Of Heavy Metal.

 

 

Finishing the evening off in style our MMH DJ’s Glynn and Steve kept the night going with a night full of all your favourite heavy, thrash and death metal track’s. The team at MMH would personally like to thank everyone that helped us kick off the 50 years of metal celebration in style and look forward to seeing you all again.
